We woke up early (7 AM Boise time) this morning to pack, eat some food, meet up with Leta and head to St Luke's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. It was a lot of fun. We had security badges made for our pet therapy session and got to meet some wonderful people at St. Luke's and at the Ronald McDonald House.
It was very rewarding seeing the people at the Ronald McDonald house, the staff and families of children who are in need of medical help. They all needed someone like Boone & I to remind them of happy time ahead. We were the first dogs ever allowed in the house, and hopefully we're invited back when we visit Boise again in the future. We had a great time, showed off our tricks and hopefully next time we'll get to play with more kids (we arrived too early and didn't have enough time in our schedule to stick around).
We drove through Salt Lake City, saw some family members and friends that live in the area (one family member was visiting from California) and go to take a few pictures with them and at the Mormon Temple again.
After our short stay there, we took off for Beaver, Utah. Traffic was horrible leaving SLC at 6 PM on a Friday, but we made decent time and we're safe and sound, so it's all good.
Tomorrow we'll be at the Grand Canyon, in Flagstaff and staying the night in Pheonix. Fun adventures still ahead.
