Niagara to Detroit
Our day began early in the morning with a quick trip down to the Falls. We felt like checking out the view from a different angle than where we'd been the previous tour, and of course with a lot less people crowding around for the same perfect view.
It was a lot more cold being the sun hadn't fully come out, so we didn't stay too long, especially since we were headed to Detroit and again on a tight timeline. On our trip to Detroit, we made sure to stop at 8 Mile Road, famous for being a dividing line between rich and poor in the Detroit area.
From there we headed to our hotel, arriving in Southfield, a suburb of Detroit. We lounged around our hotel until the evening when we headed out to meet a pair of Scotties similar to Boone and I. Otto and Leidi are a black and white colored Scotties, Leidi (pronounced Lady) is the Wheaton-colored one, similar to myself, while Otto is the black-colored male like Boone.
While Boone enjoyed Otto's company, running around chasing each other, Leidi proved to be a bit shy. At one point she was huddling up inside of a bush and refusing to come out and play with anyone. We sat down together by the end of the night and posed for a photo with the four of us. Of course teaching Leidi and Otto how to look at a camera while Boone and I are also looking turned out to be a challenge, but we all looked cute together anyway.
